Err, I mean it was, and Valentine's Day is coming up. I need to figure out something to get for Michelle, my girlfriend. I knew I didn't have any money so I decided said to myself, "Self, you need to come up with something creative to give to Michelle, even though she said to not get her anything because everyone knows that if you don't get your girlfriend something for Valentine's Day, you will rot in a thousands hells for all eternity." After pondering how bad that could possibly be, and deciding I would rather give her something and risk going into debt so that the bank comes and takes away everything that I own so that I'm left on the streets all alone and possessionless so that I have to move downtown and sit outside Steak 'n' Shake and ask people for fries when they leave, I thought that making her a drawing of us cuddling on her couch would be nice. That was what we did for our first "date" even though it was at her house. We "watched" the Lizzy McGuire movie on the Disney Channel. Don't say I'm whipped, I had a rather hilarious running commentary throughout the duration of the film. And also, since she loves the Disney Channel, she was quite affectionate for me taking time out of my schedule to come and watch something that she liked and wasn't exactly my cup of tea. At any rate, I began on said drawing with a fantastic picture in my mind and everything perfectly laid out, only to remember that I lack any artistic ablility at all and especially can't draw worth crap. My face ended up looking like Sylar from Heroes and I haven't even attempted to draw hers yet. Sucking at stuff sucks, y'know? Anyway, I'm gonna perservere, but if anyone wants to draw something for me for free that I can totally take credit for (yes that means giving me permission to plagarize) that would be much appreciated. The least you can do is give me some encouragements, tips, links to good tutorials, what have you.
